SYSTEMS ENGINEER (Tampa FL)
GRA requires the services of this Engineer to work with engineering tasks related to acquisition programs required.
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology to include applying principles, techniques, procedures
and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services. Awareness of government or other contracting environment
relating to technical, scientific and analytic services is highly desired. ![]()
Position Requirements:
- Understand and be able to implement systems engineering policy and guidance for assigned acquisition activities, including compliance with OSS&E and life cycle systems engineering requirements
- Prepare engineering-related acquisition documents in support of Pre-Milestone A, Milestone A, and Milestone B decisions. This includes the Technology Development Strategy, Systems Engineer Plan, Technical Readiness Assessment; etc
- Provide systems/specialty engineering and technical analyses for assigned acquisition activities to ensure consistent interpretation/application of policy and guidance to meet system/subsystem requirements, to include compliance with OSS&E and life cycle systems engineering requirements
- Implement risk management by performing risk management planning (identification/mitigation) technical reviews/assessments and prepare/present results in an effective/timely manner
- Review/evaluate technical products and provide technical assessments/recommendations as necessary
- Responsible for timely technical recommendations/assessments and be able to present/justify these recommendations to appropriate entities.

- Must have the ability to prioritize and work independently
