Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop engineering simulations of tactical weapon systems.
Integrate component models into new and existing simulations.
Development of validation and verification (V&V) plan and documentation.
Define, perform, and document weapon system analyses.
Plan and coordinate software development team activities; resource tracking, management and allocation.
Interact with development team, Government customer, configuration control board members and corporate management through both written and verbal communication.
Some travel required.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ EDUCATION
- Experience with the following: C++, scientific visualization, Windows development tools. Experience with Microsft Project, Visual Basic and Linux development a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of the SW development lifecycle and configuration management practices.
- Experience in DoD software development and V&V standards.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with Government customers, lead a group of technical personnel in the development of software, work as part of a team, and communicate clearly in both oral and written format.
- Must have practical experience using Ada language in an embedded setting.
- Candidate must currently have or have the ability to obtain a US security clearance.
Required Education(including Major):
B.S. in Engineering, Science, or related field. B.S., M.S. preferred.
