Melissa BosleyMs. Bosley is a defense industry manager with a nineteen-year professional career highlighted by rapid advancement in the DoD and private positions with consistent achievement in financial performance and growth, as well as markets and customer expansion. Ms. Bosley joined GRA in September 2008 as Chief Operating Officer and provides leadership for the day-to-day execution of GRA’s operations and coordination of multi-functional support for GRA’s business units.

Prior to joining GRA, Ms. Bosley served as the Manager for General Dynamics’ Command, Control, Communication and Computing Systems (C4S) Huntsville Operations and Command and Control System (C2S) Business Unit from 2002 to 2008 where she provided daily leadership and strategic direction for GDC4S’ Huntsville operations and managed a multi-functional organization of 145 employees including program managers, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, human resources, business development, quality, contracts, subcontracts, finance, field engineering and material procurement personnel.

In 1999, prior to managing GDC4S’ C2S Business Unit, Ms. Bosley joined Motorola’s Integrated Information Systems Group, which was later acquired by GD Decision Systems in 2001, as the Engineering Department Manager. In this role, Ms. Bosley was responsible for developing a technology roadmap for the Huntsville business unit, growing and managing an engineering staff of sixty, and ensuring all engineering projects met budget, schedule and technical objectives.

Ms. Bosley began her career working for AMCOM at the Redstone Arsenal in Alabama where she acted as a software manager from 1993 to 1997 and the digitization officer for DSA AMCOM from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, Ms. Bosley was awarded a Department of the Army Superior Civilian Service Award for her work.

Ms. Bosley graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a Bachelor of Science in Optics / Electrical Engineering. Ms. Bosley also received Level II Certification in Acquisition from the Defense Acquisition University and underwent a Leadership Academy program sponsored by GD C4S at Arizona State University.
